DJ Pauly Entertainment is owned and operated by Paul Helms, who began his DJ career performing at weddings and events professionally in 1989.  Born and raised in St. Louis, he spent most of his teenage years collecting records and studying music.

During the '90s, Paul lived in various cities throughout the midwest, achieving success as a radio DJ, club DJ, producer, and at one point, a morning show host.  He also garnered a nickname, DJPauly, which originated from his college and club days.  As he moved from market to market, he continued to refine his entertaining, emceeing and DJ skills at weddings and public events.

Since those humble beginnings, Paul has provided musical entertainment for people all over the United States, including many celebrities, professional athletes and well-known political figures.
